Dominic Gabello
President
Dominic Gabello is an accomplished Democratic consultant and film producer who has worked for multiple Governors, Members of Congress and candidates for office.
Gabello currently serves as a Senior Advisor for New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham as well as co-owner of a film studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. From 2019 to 2021, Gabello served as a Senior Advisor in the Office of Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham, where he led on several areas from economic development policy to organizing the executive budget. Gabello previously served as Executive Director of Lujan Grisham’s Gubernatorial Transition.
Prior to that he managed her successful Governor’s campaign and as Chief of Staff to then-Congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham (NM-01) from March 2013 to October 2017. In 2017, Gabello was honored by the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute as one of their Chief of Staff awardees.
Quentin Fulks
Treasurer
Quentin Fulks is an experienced political operative, advising some of the largest, and most consequential political campaigns, in American history.
Fulks currently serves as Campaign Manager for Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock’s re-election campaign in his home state of Georgia. Prior to leading Warnock’s campaign, Fulks served as Deputy Campaign Manager to JB Pritzker successful gubernatorial, playing an instrumental role in flipping Illinois from red to blue in 2018. In this role, Fulks managed a nearly $200 million budget and over 250 campaign staff to lead the statewide contest to victory.
After Pritzker’s victory, Fulks served as his Senior Political Advisor. While serving as Senior Political Advisor, Fulks founded and led Think Big Illinois, a 501c(4) dedicated to passing progressive policies to invest in and support working families across the state. In 2020, Fulks also founded “Vote Yes for Fairness” a ballot initiative committee dedicated to passing a graduate income tax in Illinois.
Prior to these leadership posts, Fulks graduated first in his MA class at American University in 2015 and has served in positions at several national political organizations including Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), EMILY‘s List and Priorities USA, the leading Democratic Super PAC during the 2016 presidential election when he served.
Fulks believes real political prowess comes from pursuing ambitions for people other than ourselves and he remains fiercely committed to building a bench of talent behind him.
Originally from South Georgia, Quentin currently lives between Atlanta and Chicago with his chocolate lab, Lincoln (7).
Michael Alex Nava
Secretary
During his fifteen plus years of practice, first at Davis, Cedillo & Mendoza, Inc. and then as a Member of Nava & Glander PLLC, Nava has focused on representing individuals and companies in first and third party insurance matters, employment disputes, construction disputes, and tort and business dispute litigation.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Nava played baseball for and received a B.A. in English and History from West Texas A&M University, in Canyon, Texas, in 1999. In 2004, Nava received a J.D. from St. Mary’s School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas. Nava is licensed to practice law in Texas state courts, and in the federal courts of the Eastern District of Texas, Northern District of Texas, Southern District of Texas, Western District of Texas, and Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Nava’s non-profit board service includes: Historic Design Review Commission, 2006 – 2009; Alamo Workforce Solutions Board, 2012 – 2015; and United Communities of San Antonio, 2009 – 2019. In addition, since 2006, Nava has served as a board member at Port San Antonio, where is currently the vice chair of the board of directors. In 2011, Mayor Julian Castro appointed Nava to serve as a co-chair of the Parks Committee for the City of San Antonio 2012 – 2017 Bond Program. Nava is or has been in the past a member of the following organizations: William S. Sessions American Inn of Court; State Bar of Texas; San Antonio Young Lawyers Association; San Antonio Bar Association; San Antonio Bar Foundation Fellow; the Federal Bar Association; and a Sustaining Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
Away from the office, Nava enjoys spending time with his wife, Brenna, who is also an attorney working for Rackspace Hosting, Inc., and their three young children.
Molly Culhane
Director
Molly Culhane serves as the National Director of Political Banking and DC Managing Director for Amalgamated Bank, where she brings nearly two decades of executive financial and operational leadership to bear.
Prior to joining the Bank, Molly served as the White House Chief of Operations in the Office of Administration for President Obama. Molly also served as the Deputy CFO for President Obama’s reelection campaign and as the founding CFO of Organizing for Action. Prior, she served for a decade at The Boeing Company as an analyst in the finance, national security, and space groups, along with serving as a financial analyst for Mitchell Madison Group in London.
Molly has received a Bachelor of Science from University of Wisconsin – Madison and studied national security for a Masters’ in Public Policy and Administration at Northwestern University.
Scott Price
Regional Policy Director-Lincoln Park 2 Services
Scott establishes, manintains, and manages favorable relationships with state and local government officials, community leaders, customers and business leaders in Dominion Energy Northern Virginia’s operating area. He supervises, monitors and drives timely resolutions to community and customers’ issues, concerns, and complaints. He also participates on the lobbying team supporting legislative priorities in Virginia and Maryland. Scott has been employed with Dominion Energy since November, 2019.
Previously, Scott worked in the Office of Senator Mark R. Warner from 2009-2019. He also worked for then private citizen, Mark Warner’s Virginia High-Tech Partnership and NationsBank.
Scott is a Trustee at New Bethel Baptist Church and Board Member for the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce. He is also a Board Member and Treasurer for the Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce and Northern Virginia Urban League. Scott is Founder and President of the Capital Investment Club and Board Member and Treasurer of the Departmental Progressive Club.
Scott has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia.
Vanessa Fajans-Turner
Executive Director of BankFWD
Vanessa is dedicated to driving meaningful climate action across the financial sector. As the executive director of BankFWD, she’s focused on accelerating the banking sector’s alignment with the Paris Agreement.
As a principal with Investable Oceans, she works to drive investment into sustainable ocean start-ups across the blue economy.
A native of Ithaca NY, she also advises the city’s nation-leading sustainability plan to electrify all buildings by 2030 and is never without her ice hockey skates.
Previously, Vanessa held sustainability roles at the United Nations and with James Cameron’s climate-focused Avatar Alliance Foundation.
She’s a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and producer of the Emmy Award-winning documentary series Years of Living Dangerously.
She has an MA from Johns Hopkins-SAIS and a BA from Harvard.
Jasmine Hooks
Deputy Chief Operating Officer of SKDK
Jasmine Hooks has experience in public affairs, campaigns, and government. She advises on HR policy development, client agreements, employee relations and talent acquisition.
Previously, Jasmine was the Chief Operating Officer in Illinois Governor Pritzker’s administration where she aided in the state’s COVID response, developed a statewide DEI framework, and created statewide policies and procedures.
Prior to her work in Governor Pritzker’s administration, Jasmine spent several years on the Pritzker campaign where she held various roles, including Director of Operations and Director of Scheduling. Jasmine also previously worked at a public affairs firm creating strategic events for various non-profit clients.
Jasmine is a proud graduate of Marquette University and is a Chicago native.
De’Shaun Booker
Youth Ambassador
De’Shaun Booker is a senior at Anderson University. He is a Political Science and Public Relations Major with an aspiring goal to work in congress. While attending Anderson University, De’Shaun has been Connect Club president under Anderson Universities Diversity, Community, and Inclusion department.
De’Shaun was a Summer Intern for the Institute for Ethical Campaigning in the summer of 2023 and since then has dedicated their time and skills to empower youth and foster ethical practices in campaigning. With a commitment to social justice and community engagement, he strives to make a meaningful impact in the world of politics and advocacy.
